This beautiful and decorative piece was made from locally sourced Maple wood in the Upstate New York region. It has been completely hollowed out and is purely for decoration.

This unique piece has been turned in such a way to create a dual live edge. The upper area between the bark sections has been entirely textured using handmade tools.
The colors on the exterior were created by ambrosia beetles boring into the wood and introducing a fungus, which, once established, leaves behind the beautiful staining.

9" wide x 6 3/4" tall

Finish:
Danish oil and Carnauba Wax

Every so often, wipe down with a microfiber towel to dust the piece.
Do not use any cleaners or solvents.
